We have a unique curriculum. Whist the academic core is based on the rigor of the English National Curriculum and the standard examinations such as O-Levels and A-Levels, teaching and learning will often be set from UK and regional contexts, taking full advantage of our position in UAE. This, together with our diverse community of learners, ensures that we are truly preparing the next generation of global citizens for their futures.

AJIS Student: The Learner Qualities

AJIS student is a learner with a set of qualities, attributes and values that we encourage our students, staff, and parents to adopt.

Our curriculum is designed to prepare students for life in today's world and as such transferable skills and strong character, attributes are given as much prominence as specific subject knowledge and academic challenge.

Inspired by and based on the English National Curriculum, these qualities are firmly embedded in learning and behaviour at AJIS. Students regularly consider these attributes and have a genuine understanding of each of the qualities

Has a deep understanding of UAE history, heritage, culture, and social norms. Understand and appreciate cultures and histories, and be open to other perspectives, values and traditions. Seek and evaluate other points of view.
